ISLAMABAD: A petition has been filed in the Supreme Court of Pakistan here challenging the enforcement of Governor rule in Punjab.
Sources said that the petitioner Shahid Orakzai has made a plea in his petition that on being declared one person disqualified; Governor rule in the province could not be enforced.
The petitioner said that the decision relating to Governor rule in Punjab was not correct and in violation of the constitution.
